During the morning of the workshop, Amber demonstrates step-by-step tutorials. Her focus is not just in teaching technique, but in how to apply those techniques in good watercolor “decision making.” You are encouraged to develop your personal style and unique voice in this beautiful medium, growing skill while enjoying every step of the journey. There is a lunch break for one hour (typically 12 noon - 1:00 pm). The afternoon session (until 4:00 pm) is devoted to painting your interpretation of the morning's experience through loose interpretive painting. Amber will work with each workshop participant during this time. The close of each workshop session includes sharing individual work, discussing the experience and what you learned. Each participant is encouraged to take their day's work home with them.
